Pre-qualifiers for Wibdeh

JORDAN’S WATER AND IRRIGATION MINISTRY has pre-qualified contractors for the $200 million Wibdeh dam.
Financing has been secured from the Kuwait-based Arab Fund for Social and Economic Development (AFSED), the Islamic Development Bank, and the Abu Dhabi Fund for Economic Development.
Jordan has also secured a $115 million loan from the AFSED to part finance construction of the Yarmouk River dam, near the Syrian border. The dam will impound 2.25Mm3 of water ...
