THE SOFIA WATER AND WASTEWATER CONCESSION achieved financial close last month, according to the project’s legal adviser CMS Cameron McKenna.
EBRD supported the municipality throughout the design and procurement phase of the project and will act as senior lender. Sofijska Voda AD is to get a $35 million EBRD loan to help it upgrade the water and wastewater system in the Bulgarian capital.
