* SouthWest Water Company has rescinded its contract with the city of Discovery Bay, CA, following two sewage spills and subsequent fines in July and December of last year.
Veolia Water North America will now operate the town’s water and wastewater system for a minimum of two years. Meanwhile, SWWC announced the sale of its underperforming wholesale wastewater business in Texas in early January for the sum of USD 2.8 million.
