Mekorot has issued an EPC tender for the Ashdod desal plant. The winner will have the option to take an equity stake at a later date.
Israel’s Mekorot Development and Enterprise has issued an engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) tender for the 274,000m3/d desalination plant at Ashdod. The plant will be run by a special purpose company (SPC) that has been granted a 25-year licence by the Israeli government to establish and operate the facility.
