The Saline Water Desalination Research Institute in Jubail could be said to be the brains behind Saudi Arabia’s Saline Water Conversion Corporation. For 22 years, it has been on hand to investigate plant failures and provide the solutions, to test new materials and chemicals, and to research new desalination technologies to benefit SWCC’s 30 plants.
