Veolia secures Jubail industrial O&M contract

The French firm has signed its first industrial O&M contract in the Gulf. It is part of a wider outsourcing trend.

Veolia Water has been awarded an $8.36 million O&M contract for an industrial wastewater treatment plant in Saudi Arabia. Under the 5-year agreement, Veolia will operate a 3,000m3/d plant which is currently being constructed by Metito at Saudi International Petrochemical Company’s new acetyls complex in Jubail.
