* Hyflux has entered into a RMB617 million ($90.3 million) 15-year loan agreement with the Bank of China.
The proceeds will be used to finance the development, construction and startup costs of the 100,000m3/d seawater desalination plant in Dagang City, Tianjin Province – the largest membrane seawater desalination plant in China. Hyflux won the contract back in 2004 on a 30-year BOO basis.
