Kharafi looks for solo breakthrough

Kuwait’s leading project developer is increasingly going it alone when bidding for wastewater projects. Ibrahim Al Ghusain and Ark Pang spoke to GWI about what the future holds for Kharafi National.

The upcoming wave of wastewater projects in the Middle East and North Africa region have something in common: Kharafi National. The successful execution of the 425,000m3/d Sulaibiya WWTP in 2004 put the Kuwaiti company firmly on the map, and the signs are that it will continue to lead the way in water reuse initiatives across the Gulf.
