Israel’s point-of-use solution to the water crisis

The authorities in Tel Aviv have stepped up demand management measures in an attempt to bridge the supply gap.

Israel’s Water Authority has announced further measures to reduce water consumption, including the distribution of 1.2 million household devices to reduce the flow of water from taps. The Authority has also limited the watering of public parks, and plans to impose a ‘drought tax’ on high-use household consumers.
