Flow control giant Flowserve Corporation has acquired Swiss energy recovery specialist Calder AG for an undisclosed sum, believed to be in the $80-100 million range.
* Calder generated revenues of approximately $23 million in 2008.
* New Jersey American Water has raised $75 million of 6.35% 30-year first mortgage bonds and $25 million of 5.48% 10-year first mortgage bonds. The proceeds will be used principally to pay down short-term debt. California Water Service Company, meanwhile, placed $100 million of 5.875% 10-year first mortgage bonds ...
