* US pump manufacturer Flowserve has bought Calder for an undisclosed amount.
It is good news for both parties. Calder has been looking increasingly under-resourced in comparison to the market leader, ERI, and Flowserve needs a value-added application to go with its pumps business (which is becoming more of a commodity market).
