A consortium of VA Tech Wabag and Iran’s Jyane Construction has won a $76 million 6-year contract to design, build and operate a 100,000m3/d WWTP to serve the city of Shiraz in Iran.
* The project is being funded by the World Bank. The biological nutrient removal plant will also employ UV disinfection to enable reuse of the treated effluent in agricultural irrigation.
