A fresh consultancy team is on the cards for the Hassyan 1 power and desalination project. The move has alarmed some observers in Dubai.
The Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) is seeking to engage new consultants on the planned power and desalination facility at Hassyan. The move comes as the authority delayed the bid submission deadline for the 1500MW and 454,600-545,520m3/d Hassyan 1 project for the fourth time, from 8th September to 8th November.
