Emma Welsh is excited about our new Global Water Market report – this time in print.
It’s the fifteenth of January and guess what? I haven’t broken a single New Year’s resolution. It sounds very impressive, but in fact I didn’t make any. And after the first two weeks of the year, it’s definitely working for me. I’m not worrying about being unfit and out of breath, I’ve not given up my favourite foods so I’m not crabby, which means in turn that I’ve been able to answer the numerous queries about when our next Global Water Market Report will be published with a smile on my face.
The good news is that it will be here very soon. The publication date is set for 15 March, when two mighty tomes and a CD-ROM will be available to give you the most comprehensive view of the global water market that you are likely to get. This new edition includes a lot more information than the old one, updates all the country data from the last report, and provides you with a whole new set of market forecasts.
The report starts with an overview of the market, including chapters on infrastructure and technology, water scarcity, desalination and reuse, investing in water, and the outlook for private water. As well as 161 country snapshots, this edition includes 50 in-depth country profiles, giving detailed information on municipal water and wastewater infrastructure, water and industry, water finance, government strategy and private sector participation. These profiles, written by local industry experts who work both in the private and public sectors, mean that in all the key markets, you have the in-depth information you need to be truly effective even when competing with local companies.
So that you can plan your strategy for the future, we provide you with comprehensive market forecasts for each of the 161 countries until 2016. Capital expenditure by municipalities, water reuse projects, desalination plants, and water and wastewater treatment equipment are just a few of the forecast categories – there are far too many to fit in here.
As well as giving you our view of where the global water market is now and what will happen in the future, we also provide you with datasets on a CD-ROM which you can manipulate to your own particular needs and use to form your own conclusions. Data on desalination, water reuse, private water projects, mergers and acquisitions, and publicly traded water companies allow you to do your own analysis with the confidence that it is based on sound and well-researched information.
With over 800 pages of data and analysis, this report really will provide you with everything you need to guide you through the markets, competitors and opportunities that you will encounter over the next decade. As usual, we are offering a pre-publication discount, so until 15 March you can pre-order your copy for £1,700 (£2,000 after publication). Contact myself or Clair Blakeway (cblakeway@globalwaterintel.com) for further information or to place your order. You can also find much more detailed information on our website at: www.globalwaterintel.com.
One last thing – we’ve been on Twitter for a while now and when I looked this morning I saw that we now have over 1,000 followers – if you like to tweet, why not join them – you can find us listed as Waterintel. I’ll be posting updates about our conference speakers over the next few months if I’m not too busy sitting around, doing no exercise and eating chocolate!
