Veolia discovers the Environnement

There is a difference between being an environment-related business and making a business out of improving the environment. Veolia is positioning itself as the latter, and has launched two new initiatives to support its claims.

Veolia Water Solutions & Technologies has been making a big pitch for the water sustainability market. It has developed a Water Impact Index to promote the idea of measuring water sustainability, and repackaged its wastewater technologies as wastewater refineries to promote the idea of wastewater as a resource.
