The bidders vying for the world’s largest power and desalination plant have secured some breathing space, though an uphill struggle lies ahead for both bidders and client.
Contractors have been granted a onemonth extension to the bid submission deadline for the Ras Azzour power and desalination project in Saudi Arabia. The Saline Water Conversion Corporation (SWCC) will now receive bids for the 1.025 million m3/d and 2,400MW project on 19 April.
