Industry fights back over Italian leakage

The latest leakage numbers published by the Italian statistics office are misleading, according to Federutility. The true figures are less pessimistic.

Italian water networks are not losing on average nearly half of the water they supply, as recent information released by national statistics office ISTAT appeared to suggest (see GWI January 2010 p16).
