Sembcorp sets out its global ambitions

Sembcorp's swoop on Cascal clearly demonstrates the extent of its ambition. Slow growth in the UK could suggest a portfolio re-shuffle.

The acquisition of Cascal will provide Sembcorp with access to a broad portfolio of municipal operating contracts, in addition to regulated assets in the form of UK water-only company Bournemouth and West Hampshire Water.
