Both Suez Environnement and Veolia Environnement have posted solid firstquarter results.
* They seem to have turned the corner on the problems in the solid waste business (Suez Waste Europe was up 5.6%, while Veolia Environmental Services was up 3.4%), although the results of their design-build businesses were very different.
