Mitsui’s strategy to take on the world

The trading house has quietly been building its portfolio of water projects around the world. It wants to do more, Koichi Wakana tells GWI.


Japanese trading house Mitsui has been accelerating the expansion of its global water penetration in recent years, and following its investment into the new Galaxy joint venture with Hyflux, it will boast a plant portfolio of more than 8 million m3/d.
