Acea’s growth plans fail to impress the market

The Italian multi-utility’s new business plan sets out its growth ambitions over the next three years. Business development will be sidelined in favour of efficiency gains.

Italy’s leading water and wastewater operator Acea plans to grow its EBITDA by 11% per year from €635 million in 2010 to €865 million in 2013, according to the company’s new three-year business plan, released in late December.
