Suez Environnement will crash out of the benchmark CAC 40 index on 19 December, to be replaced by cable and wiring giant Legrand.

 A trio of investors, including two Macquarie funds, have sold a 9.9% stake in Kemble Water – the holding company of Thames Water – to a fund belonging to the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority. Santander Private Equity is also understood to be considering offloading its 4.35% stake in Kemble.
