Oman’s BankMuscat has been confirmed as the advisor for the upcoming IPO of SMN Power Holding, the company that owns and operates the 120,000m3/d & 678MW Barka 2 IWPP.
SMN is a joint venture involving International Power, Mubadala and the National Trading Company. It will be floating a 35% stake before the end of the year, as required by Omani law.
