Four days strolling up and down the two exhibition halls at the Singapore International Water Week provided a useful insight into how various countries wish to be seen in the game of turning watery contacts into solid contracts.
The big theme being pitched was turning the talk about wastewater recovery into a reality, while the headlines at the Water Summit downstairs were garnered by the advice that hot water is energy-intensive and conserving it cuts bills. Evidently, electricity bills continue to speak louder than water bills.
