Helena Water closes Mundaring BOT financing

The financial close of Water Corp’s first privately financed water project bodes well for the future procurement of greenfield water assets in Western Australia. The debt package came with substantial refinancing risk attached.

Financial close was reached on Western Australia’s first privately financed water project on 29 July, as the Helena Water consortium inked key documents for the financing of the 165,000m3/d Mundaring water treatment plant.
