Developers baulk at offtake price

Only one out of the three developers approached by the Israeli government to expand desal capacity at existing sites has submitted a formal proposal.

The Israeli government’s inter-ministerial tenders committee received only one proposal by the 6th September deadline for expanding the three existing desalination plants along the country’s Mediterranean coast.
