The heated competition to acquire fast-growing analytics company YSI Inc. could make others in the sector re-assess their holdings.
ITT Corporation completed its $310 million acquisition of YSI Inc. in early September. The deal will enable it to spin off its water division in the fourth quarter with a fully-fledged analytics business in place.
