Bio-Treat, the fallen Chinese wastewater wonderstock which reinvented itself as HanKore Environment, is broadening its market focus to include the Middle East, south-east Asia and Africa.
Shares in the Singapore-quoted company are worth less than 4% of their high in 2006, before difficulties with a convertible bond trashed the value of the company’s equity. A refinancing supported by the improbably named Giant Delight has cleared the way for recovery – and global expansion.
