German billionairess Susanne Klatten has taken a 20% interest in the Dutch value-from-waste specialist. It is the kind of investment which is easier to get into than to get out of, but the long-term prospects look good.
Germany’s richest woman, Susanne Klatten, has taken a 20% stake in Dutch biotechnology specialist Paques, through her investment vehicle SKion. The deal gives SKion a place on Paques’ supervisory board, but it is in no position to drive the sale of the whole company in order to secure an early return on its investment.
