Middle East contractor and developer Metito has said it is now unlikely to pursue an IPO in 2012, citing market instability.

It is just a short few months since the company seemed committed to a f lotation, but market conditions are not good for water IPOs outside America at the moment. Fortunately the company is relatively under-leveraged, and always has the option of turning to the debt markets, although its private equity backer, Gulf Capital, may be getting impatient.
