Tough month for international water companies

October was a particularly difficult month for the global water industry with the majority of share prices easing on all the major markets.

The UK water industry saw falls across the board with the FTSE water index dropping nearly 2% to 2694. The decline came despite an October rally by the London Stock Exchange.
