ThyssenKrupp to shed stake in Eurawasser

GERMAN STEEL GIANT THYSSENKRUPP is being tipped to sell its 50% stake in the Berlin water company, Eurawasser.

A ThyssenKrupp spokesman signalled to GWI that a sale was on the cards because water does not form part of the company’s core business. The other stakeholder in Eurawasser, Ondeo Services, has an option to purchase ThyssenKrupp’s stake.
