Vivendi moves into Italian industrial market

VIVENDI WATER has acquired the Italian company, Depurazioni Industriali (DI), a Montedison group subsidiary.
DI specialises in the treatment of industrial wastewater and expects to generate €8 million in revenues for 2001. The company owns three plants where it treats effluent from three industrial sites
operated by Cereol and Novaol under 20-year management contracts.
Cereol and Novaol are also Montedison subsidiaries.
