VIVENDI WATER has won what is claimed to be the first ever contract for outsourcing water and wastewater services in Sweden.
The deal, won following an international invitation to tender, is for the town of Norrtälje, close to Stockholm.
The contract covers management of municipal water and wastewater services, including storm water. The town has a population of around 50,000. The management contract is for a total of 10 years and does not require any capital investment by Vivendi ...
