This month’s GWI features an interview with Thames Water’s CEO Bill Alexander. Bill joined Thames in 1989, the year of water privatisation in the UK, and has overseen such large capital projects as the London water ring main.
He is ideally placed to comment on the challenges facing the industry and has some interesting views on overseas interest in the UK water sector, licence terms, and the flight of capital from the industry. Bill also sets out some of his plans for RWE’s new water division, which Thames now heads up.
