Funds for Colombian water utilities

THE COLOMBIAN GOVERNMENT has allocated around $13 million to increase water treatment facilities and improve water services provided by nearly 40 utilities.

The funds are being allocated through the Economic Development Ministry.

Funds in the first phase of allocations will go to water companies in the Bolivar, Magdalena, Meta, Sucre, Vichata, Cesar, Cauca, Altantico and Cundinamarca districts.
