Algerian IWPPs update

More details have been released on financial arrangements for the Arzew independent water and power project (IWPP) in Algeria.
The plant is being developed by a new company called Kahrama, which is led by Black & Veatch of the US with an 80% stake, in conjunction with the Algerian Energy Company (AEC) which holds 20%.
The initial cost of the project was put at $300 million but Kahrama now estimates that $400 million will be required. The company is arranging ...
