US Filter sets out New Orleans proposal

US Filter Operating Services has presented the Sewerage & Water Board of New Orleans (SWBNO) with a proposal that it claims will save customers more than $600 million and create 350 new jobs.

SWBNO is currently reviewing proposals from three bidders for a contract to operate and manage the city’s water and sewer systems. The other bidders are United Water and MCEC – a group comprised of SWBNO employees.
