Mekorot restructuring plan gets the go-ahead

Israel’s national water company, Mekorot, is to become a holding company with three subsidiaries, following approval from the Ministry of Finance for the restructuring of the group.

Mekorot chairman Uri Sagie said that through its project development company, the group would be able to participate in and
develop water initiatives of up to NIS 1 billion a year ($210 million).
