AQUAMUNDO HAS SIGNED A LETTER OF INTENT to set up a joint venture for water supply and wastewater services in the Chinese city of Foshan (see GWI, Vol. 3, Issue 6, p.7).
The new company, Foshan Hua Zhi Yuan Domestic Wastewater Treatment Plant, will plan and build the city’s third municipal STP and operate it for 20 years. The plant will treat 100,000m3/d of wastewater. Construction on the €31 million project will start in early 2003 at the latest and should be completed within 18 to 24 months ...
