Predictably the July/August period has been fairly uninteresting. Several transactions, most notably in Europe, have slowed right down as government officials head off for their summer holidays.
A case in point is British Waterways’ Water Grid for which a number of groups have been shortlisted. BW has been ready to make an announcement for sometime now but needs ministers to cross the Ts and dot the Is. This means that a successful bidder will not be made known until October.
