Azeri loans announced

A CREDIT OF $145 MILLION is to be made available to Azerbaijan for the reconstruction of the Samur-Absheron canal.
The credit will be provided by the Japan Bank for International Cooperation (JBIC) and will extend over 40 years at an annual interest rate of 0.75%.
The project includes the construction of a 280Mm3 reservoir and a new canal between Velvelichai and Takhtakerpyu.
