Biwater the sole bidder for Dar es Salaam lease

Tanzania’s Parastatal Sector Reform Commission (PSRC) has received only one offer for the ten-year lease contract to manage water and sewerage services in Dar es Salaam.
Of the three prequalified bidders, Biwater of the UK in partnership with Germany’s Gauff submitted an offer, but Vivendi and Saur International both failed to submit bids by the required deadline.
