Four bidders for Tehran wastewater

FOUR COMPANIES HAVE SUBMITTED BIDS for an estimated $60-70 million contract to build a new wastewater treatment plant in the Iranian capital of Tehran. The client is Tehran Sewerage Company (TSC).
The four are VA Tech of Austria, Générale des Eaux and Degrémont, both of France, and Germany’s Walter Bau. TSC is reviewing the bids before submitting its recommendation to the World Bank, which is part-funding the scheme.
