GELSENWASSER has further widened its domestic sphere of influence through a joint venture with the municipal utility of Essen.
In its latest move, the company has set up a joint water company with the municipal utility known as Wassergewinnung Essen. The city’s WTP will be run by the new company from the start of next year. However, water supply to customers will remain the responsibility of the individual companies.
