Constanta attracts six

A first consultative meeting with private sector operators drew strong interest last month.

Six international private water companies have expressed tentative interest in the public-private partnership (PPP) to operate water services in the County of Constanta on the Black Sea coast of Romania.

Constanta is the second major transaction in Romania following Bucharest and is expected to set the model for other medium-sized cities intending to involve the private sector.
