Spain: The board of Aguas de Valencia filed a report to the stock exchange regulatory body (the CNMV) revising the profit figure for the third quarter.

The board said that the company’s former CEO Aurelio Hernandez had been found to have “applied accounting criteria which the board regards as incorrect”. The revision indicated that Aguas de Valencia posted gross profits of €2.36 million in the first nine months of 2002 and not the €3.02 million presented by Hernandez to the board.
