UK water sector rises with wider market gains

Publication of companies’ plans for the next review period makes little impact.
The UK water industry saw across the board gains this month. However, only two companies, AWG and Pennon, outperformed the wider FTSE 100 index. Overall, gains by the UK water industry were in lock-step with improvements in the London Market. The FTSE 100 gained nearly 5% for October but showed signs of weakening towards the end of the month.
