Franklin + Andrews, which is part of Mott MacDonald, won a framework contract to provide cost consultancy services for Scottish Water to assist in implementing its £1.8 billion capital investment programme.
The contract will run for three years. Scottish Water is the fourth largest provider of water and sewerage services in the UK and its latest CAPEX programme covers 1,500 projects. The competition for framework agreements is hotting up south of the border as consultants seek similar mandates under the £20 billion AMP4 investment programme (see above).
