Suez and AWG are out of the picture, but RWE/Thames has bounced back.

GWI’s 2003 deal survey shows a dramatic change at the top of the league table of water company deals. While Suez’s Ondeo subsidiary was the dominant player in the industry in 2002, it dropped out of the rankings in 2003 as its debt-reduction programme pushed its growth strategy into reverse.
